Deslaurier is a leader in the design, manufacturing, installation and servicing of kitchen cabinetry and operated in a number of business channels that include some of the region’s top, award-winning builders and renovators and a dealer network that represents the Deslaurier brand throughout Ontario.

Deslaurier’s two shareholders were looking to take a few chips off the table, but they each had different perspectives on what a successful outcome looked like. This was further complicated by ownership percentages that were not equally split. Its often easy for a buyer and seller to get caught up in valuation multiples and negotiations around pricing while sometimes forgetting the seemingly obvious non financial characteristics that a seller might deem most important.
